The water rate is an ecological tax that is paid on the real or potential use of water and the pollution that could be produced once this water has been used.
By paying this rate, the general public and industries contribute towards the costs of the services of the water cycle.
Through the various official gazettes, the Catalan Water Agency publishes public invitations to tender for works, consultancy and assistance, services, services management and supply contracts.
In this application, you can consult all the information that will enable you to carry out the process for bidding on a contract and the deadline by which you should do so. You can also consult the awards.
Any use of public water and/or the public water resources requires authorisation or administrative concession, such as water use, sailing in rivers and reservoirs, aggregate extraction, works, etc. Direct or indirect discharge into the aquatic environment and waste products likely to pollute the water require discharge authorisation.
